Specifications:
Note: IMPACT Credit Card units meet or exceed the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard. The system is protected by encryption and two layers of password protection.
- Data is read from the buyer’s credit card magnetic stripe by the Credit card Module.
- The data extracted is stored using an industry standard AES 128 bit-encryption.
- The encrypted data is recovered using proprietary infrared (IR) communication protocol to a PDA unit with Bellatrix software.
- The encrypted data is then transferred from the PDA to a Windows PC using Card-Trak™ software.
- The PC decrypts the data and sends it to the processing gateway via a secure internet connection.
